We participate in far-reaching programs that strive to affect our communities and invite others to join our work.

Family Promise
Family Promise rescues families with children (and their pets) from homelessness. They are given the resources, time, and love to stabilize and move toward self-sufficiency. Families are helped to stay together. Families find Family Promise through an Internet search, referral, or the Valley’s Family Housing Hub. See more at familypromiseaz.org.

Speaker Series
The Speaker Series.
We invite a cross-section of current and influential speakers to educate us on the structure of the Episcopal Church and opportunities for leadership in areas we may not have known existed. We share expertise from within and outside of UBE.

Tanganyka
The Tanganyka Program.
In conjunction with OtherWISE Research and Evaluation, we helped assess the use of mobile telephone accounts in Tanzania for banking. Banking and Credit are not available to poor people in East Africa. We evaluated the use of cell phone accounts for saving and making payments.
